ICA Language Services is looking for a Portuguese Brazilian test developer to be part of our team working on a computer-based diagnostic program designed to provide automated, individualized, language-specific feedback for military linguists and help them identify their diagnostic profile, or their immediate learning priorities.
This is a full-time position with benefits (health insurance, PTO). The work is performed at our facility in Arlington, Virginia. No relocation assistance. No remote work allowed.
Portuguese Brazilian test developer should have at least BA from an accredited university in Brazil and native or near-native proficiency in reading, speaking, listening and writing the target language (ILR 4 or 5) and ILR level 3 in English or ACTFL equivalent.
Experience in the following areas: curriculum design, language teaching, and/or item writing/test development. Responsibilities include a selection of passages based on ILR level (for listening comprehension) and designing test activities based on client’s requirements. Computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and a solid knowledge of Adobe Audition.
