ICA Language Services is looking for an Egyptian-Arabic dialect test developer to be part of our team working on a computer-based diagnostic program designed to provide automated, individualized, language-specific feedback for military linguists and help them identify their diagnostic profile, or their immediate learning priorities.
This is a full-time position with benefits (health insurance, PTO). The work is performed at our facility in Arlington, Virginia. No relocation assistance. No remote work allowed.
Egyptian-Arabic dialect test developer should have at least BA from an accredited university in Egypt and native or near-native proficiency in reading, speaking, listening and writing the target language (ILR 4 or 5) and ILR level 3 in English or ACTFL equivalent.
Experience in the following areas: curriculum design, language teaching, and/or item writing/test development. Responsibilities include a selection of passages based on ILR level (for listening comprehension) and designing test activities based on client’ requirements. Computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Adobe Audition.
